Ward Cornell, the host of “Hockey Night in Canada” from 1959-72, has died at age 75 at London, Canada. . . . In the first game of ABC’s NHL contract, the overnight rating for the All-Star game was unchanged from last year. Sunday’s game got a 2.6 overnight rating and a six share, the same as last year’s telecast on Fox.
