The general Empowerment Zone Resident Committee will meet Wednesday at Santa Ana High School, 520 W. Walnut St. Santa Ana was one of 15 cities selected nationally to receive up to $100 million over the next 10 years in federal funds for redevelopment. Committee meetings offer residents a chance to suggest program development ideas and funding recommendations to be passed on to the zone’s governance board.
