Orange Coast Powers Past Sequoias, 11-3

Eric Wiethorn and Chris Laws hit home runs as Orange Coast defeated visiting College of the Sequoias, 11-3, in a Cy-Coast tournament baseball game Sunday.

Wiethorn also had a double and drove in four runs, and Adam Anderson had three hits, including a triple, and three runs batted in for OCC (5-5).

Jamie Brown gave up five hits and two runs in seven innings for the victory.

Cypress’ game against Canyons was canceled because of wet grounds and Santa Ana’s game against visiting Los Angeles Valley was postponed until 2 p.m. today.
