BUENA PARK
Many schools in both the Centralia School District and the Buena Park District will celebrate a day of literacy in honor of the birthday of author Theodor Geisel, or “Dr. Seuss,” on Thursday. The “Read Across America Day” will show off the reading skills of residents, volunteers and instructors.
In the Centralia School District, special events will be held at Glen H. Dysinger, Walter Knott, San Marino and Raymond Temple elementary schools. The district information number is (714) 228-3100.
