COSTA MESA
Local volunteers will plant 65 trees at Costa Mesa High School on Saturday.
The tree planting is the first this year for ReLeaf Costa Mesa, a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization. California ReLeaf and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection donated the trees, which will include pines, sweet gums and other species.
Interested tree planters should meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at Costa Mesa High School, 2650 Fairview Road. Information: Kris Hagen, (714) 546-0168.
