BREA
Mayor Bev Perry wants to hear from the people in the coming year.
Perry, appointed last month to serve as mayor in 2000, will present her goals for a “Brea Youth Summit” and a public forum about development during the annual mayor’s speech to the City Council later this month.
The city’s first youth summit would give teenagers the chance to exchange ideas and provide input on Brea’s future. She also wants to continue the dialogue between residents and developers with more workshops on housing projects planned in the surrounding hillsides.
