Multiethnic Web Site OneNetNow Names CEO
* Carlton Jenkins, former chairman, president and chief executive of Founders National Bank of Los Angeles, has been named chief executive of OneNetNow.com, a Web site that is billed as the first to provide online content for multiethnic users. The Los Angeles-based company, which has received financial backing from Yucaipa Cos., is scheduled to debut later this month.
* Former William Morris Agency President Arnold Rifkin was named to the board of directors of online entertainment company MediaTrip.com. Rifkin now heads Cheyenne Enterprises, a film and TV venture.
* Technology attorney Martin Rips has joined the Los Angeles office of law firm Perkins Coie as a partner in its Internet and e-commerce practice. Rips previously was a partner at McKenna & Cuneo.
