Kenneth Starr

Re Frank Mandanici’s campaign to reprimand Kenneth Starr, Jan. 4: Former independent counsel Starr frightened all law-abiding people by using police state tactics to intimidate witnesses in an investigation into private matters. It embarrassed and humiliated not only the twice-elected president but all Americans.
The resilience and common sense of both the forefathers and contemporary Americans prevented Starr from toppling the presidency.
Is that punishment enough for his costly and damaging efforts? In any case, he should certainly be prevented from passing further judgments.
