Norman Rothstein; Producer of Plays and Musicals

Norman E. Rothstein, 63, who was involved in the production or management of more than 300 plays and musicals on Broadway, off Broadway and in national touring companies. The president of Norman Rothstein & Associates, a theatrical production, management and consulting firm, he managed or produced Broadway and touring productions, including “Grease,” “Pippin,” “The Pirates of Penzance,” “The Little Foxes” starring Elizabeth Taylor, and “The King and I” starring Yul Brynner. Rothstein worked on productions of “Hello, Dolly!” with Carol Channing, Pearl Bailey and Ginger Rogers. On Dec. 23 at his home in New York of pancreatic cancer.
