Beta, Interpore Make Top Small-Caps List
Analysts at the Red Chip Review on Tuesday released its list of the top 24 small-cap stocks, including two Orange County companies, in growing industries or with undiscovered value.
The Portland, Ore., research division of RedChip.com Inc. said Interpore Cross International in Irvine is a leading innovator in the biologic and spinal implant markets, which are more than $1 billion in combined size and growing in at mid-double-digit rates.
The review also said that Beta Oil & Gas Inc. in Newport Beach is on track to building a business with significant gas reserves.
The review and RedChip.com, which is 55% owned by Newport Beach investment banker Cruttenden Roth, specialize in small-cap companies, those valued at less than $1.5 billion.
