The City Council approved a master bicycle plan, making Stanton eligible to apply for funding from the state Bicycle Transportation Account.
The plan suggests the implementation of bike paths on Western, Orangewood, Cerritos, Dale, Lampson and Magnolia avenues. The plan also suggests considering the construction of off-road bike paths along existing railroad right-of-ways or the Stanton storm drain.
