Phase 3 of Burbank Project Underway

M. David Paul & Associates started construction last week on the third phase of its 1.2-million-square-foot Media Studios North office complex in Burbank, the company said.
The three-story project, designed by Dave Thomsen Enterprises, includes 100,000 square feet of office space. The first two phases, totaling 450,000 square feet, are fully leased--with Residential Funding Corp., a unit of GMAC, the most recent major lessee with a commitment for about 44,000 square feet.
Walt Disney Co. occupies the project’s 200,000-square-foot first phase, while Residential Funding is joining Equilon Enterprises, Microcaddam and Alltel Information Services at the recently completed second phase.
The 19-acre site near the Burbank Airport also includes a private health club and commissary, along with a sand volleyball court, putting green and jogging track.
