Public’s Help Sought in Finding 5 People

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating five people sought in crimes including assault with a deadly weapon and violating probation.

Joshua George Adams, 23, currently on probation, is wanted in an assault-with-a-deadly-weapon case and for allegedly making threats. His last known address was in the 2900 block of Camino Del Zuro in Thousand Oaks.

Adams is white, 6 feet 1 and 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a spider web tattoo on his left elbow and the letters “VC” on his chest.

Christopher Dale Ontineru, 26, allegedly violated his probation on charges of possession of a controlled substance and sales and transportation of a controlled substance. Ontineru, who also uses the last name Ontenery, was last known to have lived in the 1500 block of Ivywood Drive in Oxnard, working on fishing boats out of Channel Island Harbor.

Ontineru is 6 feet 4 and 220 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Timothy Scott Polfus, 37, failed to appear for sentencing on a conviction for possessing narcotics. He was last known to have lived in the 40 block of East Ramona Avenue in Ventura. Polfus is white, 5 feet 11 and 160 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

Athena Georgette Caliendo, 28, allegedly violated her probation on convictions for drug charges. Her last known address was in the 3200 block of Hilldale Avenue in Simi Valley.

Caliendo is 5 feet 1, 120 pounds and has blue eyes and blond hair. She has a rose tattoo on her left hand and a spider web on her chest. She also uses the alias Athena Kotas.

Joseph William Beuer, 22, allegedly violated the terms of his probation on convictions of selling and transportation of a controlled substance. Beuer’s last known address was in the 3700 block of Santa Clara Avenue in Nyeland Acres. He was last known to work as a landscaper.

Authorities said Beuer has been seen in the Oxnard area driving a dark blue Jeep Wrangler. He is Hispanic, 5 feet 10 and 175 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 385-TALK or 494-TALK. Information can be provided anonymously, and there is a reward for any tip that leads to a conviction.
