A Baldwin Park man died in a four-collision accident on the northbound Orange (57) Freeway south of Imperial Highway in Fullerton early Monday morning, said California Highway Patrol officials.
Christian Cervantes, 20, died at the scene of the accident, which was reported about 4:15 a.m. The driver of a green Honda Accord, also involved in the collision, was taken to a nearby hospital. No one else was hurt, officials said.
Cervantes’ 1999 Honda Civic rear-ended another vehicle, hit a ground rail, spun out of control and was hit by three other vehicles.
The northbound freeway lanes remained closed for about four hours, said CHP Officer J.M. O’Hair of the Santa Ana office.
