Bodies of 50 Probably Killed in ‘80s Found
From Times Wire Reports
Human rights officials said they had unearthed the remains of 50 people at a clandestine cemetery, apparent victims of Guatemala’s 35-year civil war that ended in 1996. Romeo Lucas Garcia and Gen. Efrain Rios Montt, said Mario Polanco, coordinator of the Mutual Support Group, an organization for the families of missing persons.
