* Finally, a decision by the Supreme Court that money equates to property and not speech (“Supreme Court Backs Political Donor Limits,” Jan. 25). Sanity has finally prevailed in our country. Hopefully this will bring out the voters who have given up their vote due to the morass of campaign finance abuse. Many Americans dropped out of voting, stating, “What difference does my vote mean?”
The caveat in this decision is that it was a decision [about a state contribution limit]. Does this mean federal elections are not included in this decision? This would be a moral flaw in the electoral process.
