Santa Ana Man, 23, Dies in Vegas Pool

LAS VEGAS — A Santa Ana man drowned at a motel on the Las Vegas strip Friday evening after falling into the guest pool.
The victim, 23, was visiting friends registered at the Tam O’Shanter Motel, across from the Treasure Island hotel-casino.
Authorities said the man’s body was noticed floating in the pool about 9:45 p.m.
Witnesses told Clark County Fire Department officials that the group had been drinking.
The man’s name was not released, pending notification of relatives.
