The Arroyo Vista Parent Teacher Assn. raised $68,742 for school-enrichment projects during the 1999-2000 school year.
The fall sale of holiday gift wrap earned $30,000 for the elementary school. Other fund-raisers included the spring carnival and silent auction, which earned $19,000; entertainment book sales, which brought in $6,000; a membership drive that earned $6,000, as well as book fairs, a millennium tile wall, a holiday gift shop and “spirit wear” sales.
