Power-One CEO Joins BidVantage Board

Steve Goldman of Power-One Inc. has joined the board of directors of BidVantage Inc. in Camarillo, which operates a business-to-business electronics marketplace for buyers and sellers.

Goldman is chief executive and chairman of the board of Power-One in Camarillo, a designer of power supplies for telecommunications, electronic equipment manufacturing and Internet companies. He is also on the board of directors for Royce Medical.

Goldman joined Power-One in 1982 and was appointed president and CEO in 1990. He took the company public in 1997.

“Steve’s commitment to the industry, as well as to various other boards, make him a vital asset to our company,” said Sheldon Malchicoff, BidVantage chairman, president and chief executive.

BidVantage customers include original-equipment manufacturers, third-party maintenance organizations and value-added resellers.
