Saddleback’s DiMartino Earns Tennis Honor

Saddleback College freshman David DiMartino has been selected rookie of the year for community college tennis in California by the Intercollegiate Tennis Assn.

DiMartino, of Las Vegas, won the Orange Empire Conference singles and doubles titles and reached the state tournament quarterfinals.

Five Santa Ana College players made commitments: cornerback James Farley (Montana State), running back Joe Tagaloa (San Diego), linebacker Brandon Lambert (San Jose State), wide receiver Jeremiah Armendariz (New Haven) and fullback Sammy Uai (Concordia, Minn.).
