* Update--After a 4-0 start, Michael Cooper’s Sparks are looking to avoid two losses in a row to expansion teams and three in a row overall. The Sparks are coming off a 69-59 overtime loss at Seattle. Seattle, 1-5 entering the game, barely survived a closing Spark rally but outscored L.A., 14-4, in overtime. The Fire is coming off an 81-80 overtime loss to Phoenix. The Sparks’ La’Keshia Frett has a hip injury. Guard Allison Feaster may start in place of Tamecka Dixon, who played poorly Tuesday and sat for most of the second half. The Sparks play Charlotte on Sunday and Houston on Tuesday, both at the Great Western Forum.
