The City Council is scheduled tonight to fill four vacancies on the Planning Commission after an interview session with 12 candidates, including three incumbents.
Commissioners Carol Bonner, Dennis Papilion and E. Dorothy Prohaska have all applied to be reappointed to the seven-member commission.
Commissioner Frank Montesino has not reapplied for his position.
The two-year terms begin July 1.
The council also will fill three vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission from a pool of nine candidates, including incumbent Commissioner Bob Maltinsky.
The council will conduct the interviews for the Planning Commission at 6:30 p.m. and the Parks and Recreation interviews at 7:30 p.m. in the council chamber at City Hall, 100 Avenida Presidio.
