LAGUNA NIGUEL
A Fourth of July celebration will get underway with a 10K run at 7 a.m. and a 5K run and walk at 8:15 a.m. at Crown Valley Community Park, 29751 Crown Valley Parkway. Children’s races will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Chamber of Commerce also will host a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m.
A free concert, featuring Tate 5, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the park’s amphitheater.
Finally, a community walk at 8:15 p.m. will take residents to the Laguna Niguel Regional Park for a fireworks show, which begins at 9 p.m. Participants should bring flashlights.
