Moorpark 68, Irvine Valley 57--Trevor Lorz scored 17 points and hit five three-point shots for the host Raiders in a second-round victory.
Dan Galvanoni scored 16 points and O.J. Thomas had 14 points and six assists for Moorpark (25-7).
The victory was the seventh in a row for No. 5-seeded Moorpark, which plays at Cerritos on Saturday.
Moorpark led, 16-8, midway through the first half, but the Lasers (21-11) hit six three-pointers to take a 30-29 lead at intermission.
Irvine Valley had a 34-32 lead early in the second half, but Thomas and Galvanoni led Moorpark on an 8-0 run.
Irvine Valley narrowed its deficit to 40-37 on a three-point shot by Earl Sanchez, but Lorz and Moorpark’s Alan Case hit consecutive three-pointers to give Moorpark a 46-37 advantage.
Lorz and Thomas each had four steals.
