RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA
The city has received a preliminary proposal from the county to build a juvenile rehabilitation facility on the grounds of Rancho Potrero, next to the Joplin Youth Center in Trabuco Canyon.
City officials were given the proposal so they could let the county know if they have any concerns they would want addressed in the project’s environmental study.
The city’s staff has drafted a letter to the county listing those concerns, including potential effects of traffic and lighting, and the City Council will be asked to approve the letter or make changes at its meeting tonight.
