SAN CLEMENTE
A study completed by Wolf, Keens & Co. and Chattel Architecture, Planning & Preservation Inc. of Cambridge, Mass., recommends that San Clemente’s Casa Romantica be used for displays on local and regional history, performances and lectures, while keeping a portion as rental space for weddings, meetings and other events.
The City Council will discuss the study during a live public broadcast at 8:30 a.m. April 8 at City Hall, 100 Avenida Presidio.
The plan calls for the council to select a five-member board of trustees to oversee Casa Romantica. A five-person nominating committee has been charged with recommending candidates to the council.
