Holiday Bowl
The sale and impending closure of Holiday Bowl is a true loss for our community (May 3). On any given night, Holiday Bowl is filled with people of all ages and ethnicities. Since moving to the area in 1997, my friends and I have enjoyed spending Saturday night there.
This living landmark will soon be gone. What will replace it? Inevitably a second-class mini-mall, desired by nobody, needed by nobody, but able to make more money per square foot. What a shame.
