Cohen to Attend Today’s Armed Forces Day Parade

TORRANCE — The 41st Annual Armed Forces Day Parade, the country’s oldest and largest event of its kind, will begin at 2 p.m. today. Secretary of Defense William Cohen will be at the event, but will not be marching in the parade, city officials said.
Military exhibits, such as armored personnel carriers, helicopters and tanks, will be on display at the nearby Del Amo Mall.
