Chatsworth’s IRIS Inc. Sees Income Rise in 1st Quarter

International Remote Imaging Systems Inc., Chatsworth, reported net income of $637,000 for the first quarter ended March 31 compared with a loss of $930,000 over the same period in 1999. Revenue rose 23% to $6.8 million compared with $5.5 million.
IRIS manufactures and markets automated in vitro diagnostic imaging systems and laboratory devices with a variety of applications, including genetics and hematology for use in hospitals and clinical laboratories.
