SUNLAND — The body of a 32-year-old man was found early Wednesday slumped on a residential street, police said.
The death is being investigated as a homicide, said Lt. Tony Zamora of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.
Police were called to the 8300 block of McGroarty Street at 6:05 a.m. by a resident who spotted the body. Detectives have not yet determined how the man died.
“It doesn’t appear natural,” said Officer Jason Lee, an LAPD spokesman.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office will perform an autopsy to establish the cause of death. Officials declined to release the victim’s name, saying his family had not been notified.
