Daylight Saving Time
I, too, would like to stay on Daylight Saving Time year-round (letter, Sept. 19). It would be great to drive home while it is still light, not to mention the energy that would be saved. Remember when we had the energy crisis in the 1970s? There was one year that we stayed on daylight savings to save energy, and everyone seemed to like it. The only ones who complained were the teachers, who said it was not good to have the children come to school in the morning while it was still dark. Well, why not just start school an hour later?
