The position has been vacant since John Haeckel resigned in February, and the company’s shares have fallen 22% in the last 12 months. Leonetti was chief financial officer at finance firm Long Beach Mortgage Co.
Leonetti will be involved in reaching the company’s goals of boosting the share price and lowering debt and expense levels, CB Richard said. The Los Angeles-based company brokers leases and asset purchases and sales.
