SAN CLEMENTE
The City Council has approved establishing a tile award program to recognize businesses for excellence in architecture, historic preservation and economic vitalization. The council voted 5 to 0 at its meeting Wednesday to begin developing the program.
Additionally, the council approved a site permit for Taico Properties Inc., which will develop 11 single-story buildings in the Talega Business Park at Avenida Pico and Avenida Vista Hermosa.
The council continued until Oct. 18 a public hearing on a site permit for Burke-Talega Partners LLC, which seeks to build 15 buildings in the Talega Business Park.
