Columbus Day will be observed Monday. The following schedules will be in effect:
Closed: Los Angeles city and county offices, state and federal offices, courts, banks, post offices and libraries.
Open: Some businesses, Los Angeles city and county schools.
Trash: Collected on regular schedules for all Los Angeles city residents.
