SEASON AT A GLANCE: A slow start by Testan, who averaged only 3.4 yards a carry through four games, can be attributed to 18 teammates being suspended for two games. With Oak Park (4-1) at full strength last week, Testan looked like the running back who rushed for 1,410 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior. He has rushed for 574 yards and five touchdowns, averaging nearly six yards a carry.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: The Tri-Valley League defending 100- and 200-meter champion rushed for 270 yards in 28 carries and had touchdown runs of nine and 83 yards in a 24-14 victory over Nordhoff, a Division XI finalist last year.
