In nonleague eight-man football:
Liberty Christian 42, Santa Clarita Christian 12--Nick Harbert threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns to lead Liberty Christian at Sylmar First Lutheran School.
Aaron Mendoza caught six passes for 154 yards and all three touchdowns. Mendoza also returned a kickoff for a touchdown and had two interceptions.
Chris Houser had 17 tackles and Harbert had 12 for the Minutemen (4-1).
Mike Spagnola rushed for 102 yards--his sixth consecutive 100-yard game--and two touchdowns.
