FULLERTON
Maple Elementary fourth-graders took a shovel to the dirt at their school Friday in a groundbreaking ceremony for 14 classrooms and a media center to be built on the Valencia Drive Campus.
This is the first time in years the fourth grade is being offered at the school, which had been serving only students in grades K-3. The school plans to add grades five and six by 2002.
