Mahony’s Labor Support

* Re “Mahony’s Close Labor Ties Reflected in His Strike Role,” Oct. 13: If Cardinal Roger Mahony is so concerned about the needs of organized labor, where has he been during the six months of the SAG/AFTRA strike? These unions of 135,000 people--most of whom earn less annually than bus drivers or county workers--deserve his support too.
