Signups for a Youth Basketball League beginning Jan. 2 are being accepted by the Recreation and Community Services Department.

The league for ages 8 through 13 will hold practices after-school hours twice a week and games on Saturdays. The cost is $58 and includes a T-shirt, trophy and an awards banquet. The office is at 10911 Oak St. Information: (562) 430-1073.
