Different Directions

When Texas Christian stunned USC, 28-19, in the 1998 Sun Bowl, it seemed to signify a turning point for both programs, most strikingly the demise of Tailback U. The rise of the Horned Frogs and the fall of the Trojans is commonly attributed to the coaching of Dennis Franchione and Paul Hackett, respectively.
