Sean Maloy; CEO of San Diego’s SourcingLink.net

Sean Maloy, 42, president and chief executive officer of San Diego-based SourcingLink.net. The company was founded in 1993 by its chairman of the board, Marcel van Heesewijk, who will temporarily take over Maloy’s duties. Maloy joined the company in early 1999 and was instrumental in securing major financial backing and getting the firm listed on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market. Educated at the University of Notre Dame, Maloy worked for most of his career with the high-tech company Maxwell Technologies. Announced Monday in San Diego, of a heart attack caused by collapse of a heart valve.
