Steelers Lose Another Fullback
Pittsburgh fullback Chris Fuamatu-Ma’afala will be out at least four weeks after breaking a broken bone in his left foot.
Fuamatu-Ma’afala suffered the injury at the end of a 20-yard run, his only carry during Sunday’s 22-0 victory over Cleveland.
The 5-foot-11, 250-pound Fuamatu-Ma’afala has 21 carries for 149 yards and one touchdown and 11 catches for 107 yards. He has been primarily used as a third-down back, but was making his first career start on Sunday in place of Jon Witman, who suffered a broken leg in Pittsburgh’s 15-0 victory over Cincinnati on Oct. 15.
Dan Kreider will become the starting fullback for Sunday’s game at Baltimore.

Kansas City defensive end Eric Hicks will be out four to six weeks after suffering a sprained ligament in his right knee in the Chiefs’ victory against St. Louis.
Hicks, who is tied for second in the AFC with seven sacks, is not the only Chief battling injury. Quarterback Elvis Grbac is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Seattle. Grbac was knocked out of the game against the Rams late in the third quarter because of an elbow contusion.

San Diego activated linebacker Deon Humphrey from the practice squad and put defensive tackle Michael Mohring on injured reserve. Mohring suffered a season-ending injury in a 27-24 overtime loss at Buffalo on Oct. 15.
