Injuries have decimated St. John Bosco’s roster and contributed to four consecutive losses. “The injuries have hurt the momentum and morale of our team,” said offensive coordinator Monty McDermott. Senior quarterback Gilbert Porras broke his ankle two weeks ago against Los Angeles Loyola and is being replaced by sophomore Joseph Souza, who has a stronger arm but lacks experience. Offensive guard/defensive tackle Josh Pukini (6-3, 260), who recently committed to California, has missed the last three weeks with a knee injury but might play tonight.
