Kennedy 55, Van Nuys 17--Adam Geery connected on 10 of 12 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns at Kennedy.
Geery hooked up with Efren Lopez for touchdowns covering 48, 56 and 42 yards. Lopez had four catches for 155 yards.
Van Nuys (0-8, 0-3) opened the scoring on a four-yard run by Eddie Kirakosian with 3:07 to play in the first quarter, but the Golden Cougars (6-1-1, 2-1) reeled off 48 consecutive points, starting with James Norris’ three-yard run with 5:28 remaining in the first half.
Norris finished with three touchdowns, including an 89-yard kickoff return.
Jerome Williams ran 11 times for 169 yards with two touchdowns for Kennedy.
