THQ Reports Profit Drop, Increase in Revenue
THQ Inc., Calabasas, reported net income for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30 of $2.4 million compared with $4.7 million for the same quarter last year. Revenue rose to $53.3 million from $44.3 million.
These results exclude the operations of Volition, a game developer acquired in August that was accounted for as a pooling of interest.
THQ develops games for personal computers and other platforms.
