* Theater--The Santa Barbara Actors Theatre will open Edward Albee’s “Zoo Story” and Conrad Bromberg’s “At Home” Friday at Center Stage Theatre. The productions will play concurrently. * Theater--The Santa Barbara City College Theatre Group will present “The Church of 80% Sincerity,” a one-man theatrical comedy featuring David Roche. Show times: Friday-Saturday, 8 p.m. The performances will be staged at the college’s West Campus Fe Bland Forum, in the 800 block of Cliff Drive, Santa Barbara. $16 general, $12 seniors; $10 students. 965-5935.
* Stars--The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History will host two public astronomy viewings on Saturday. 2 p.m.: Trained volunteers from the museum’s Quasars to Sea Stars teen program will set up specially filtered telescopes for daytime views of the sun. Participation is included with museum admission--$6 general; $5 seniors and teens; $4 ages 12 and under. 8:30-10 p.m.: Astronomical Unit, the museum’s amateur astronomy club, will a set up a variety of large telescopes to view the moon and other objects in the nighttime sky. * Museum--The Santa Barbara Museum of Art will open “Netsuke: The Japanese Art of Miniature Carving” on Saturday. Hours: Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Friday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday, noon-5 p.m. Through Nov. 19. The museum is at 1130 State St., Santa Barbara. $5 general; $3 ages 65 and older; $2 students with ID and ages 6-17; free, ages 5 and under. 963-4364.
