At its Tuesday meeting, the City Council will honor two residents with certificates and pins because each has volunteered 3,000 hours of service to the Police Department.
Jim Easley and Vivienne da Costa volunteered through the Associated Seniors Action Program, which helps the Police Department with phone calls, fingerprinting children, bike registration and more.
Easley, a Texas native, reached his 3,000-hour mark in June; Los Angeles native da Costa hit the goal in March.
The council will meet at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto.
