Chadwick 10, St. Genevieve 8--Eyson Concepcion ran 26 times for 133 yards and one touchdown, but it wasn’t enough for the Valiants in a nonleague game at Torrance High.
Concepcion scored from 11 yards and ran for a two-point conversion to tie the score, 8-8.
Guillermo Hernandez of St. Genevieve (0-3) completed 13 of 31 passes for 131 yards but was intercepted five times.
The Valiants had 137 yards in penalties.
Tungi Williams of Chadwick (2-1) returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown, kicked the conversion and had a 30-yard field goal.
