Franklin Sparks Santa Ana Victory

Daniel Franklin’s three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth lifted first-place Santa Ana to a 7-5 victory over Orange Coast in an Orange Empire Conference baseball game Saturday at Santa Ana.

Dale Thayer pitched the final three innings for his fifth save for Santa Ana (22-4, 12-2).
