Telenetics Corp.’s China Modem Deal Extended

Telenetics Corp. in Lake Forest said Tuesday that it has been awarded a $1-million contract for the continued supply of its proprietary modems to a major electric utility automation project in China.
The company said in a news release that since 1998, it has been the exclusive supplier of proprietary industrial grade data communication devices required to provide links between the utility’s main distribution station and about 6,500 remote terminal units installed on the project.
